He is one of the highest-paid actors in Bollywood and has consistently appeared on Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list since 2012. Kapoor has received several awards, including seven Filmfare Awards.

Kapoor was born to actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh and is the grandson of legendary filmmaker Raj Kapoor. He studied filmmaking at the School of Visual Arts and method acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. He began his career assisting Sanjay Leela Bhansali on the film “Black” (2005) before making his acting debut in Bhansali’s “Saawariya” (2007). His sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahani, is an interior designer. Kapoor attended Bombay Scottish School, where he excelled more in sports, particularly football, than in academics. After completing his pre-university education at H.R.
