Early Life and Education
John Abraham was born in Bombay (now Mumbai), Maharashtra, to a Malayali Syrian Christian father and an Irani Zoroastrian mother. His Zoroastrian name is Farhan, but he was baptized as John. He has a younger brother named Alan. Abraham studied at Bombay Scottish School, Jai Hind College, and later earned an MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai. He is a spiritual person but does not adhere to any specific religion.
Career Beginnings
Abraham started his career in modeling, winning the Gladrags Manhunt Contest in 1999, which led him to international modeling assignments. He made his acting debut with the film Jism (2003), which was a sleeper hit. This was followed by Saaya and Paap, though both films underperformed at the box office.
