Early Life and Career
While studying Civil Engineering at IIT Kharagpur, Jitendra Kumar developed a passion for acting. He participated in many stage plays as the Governor of the Hindi Technology Dramatics Society, where he met Biswapati Sarkar, the Executive Creative Director at The Viral Fever (TVF). This connection led him to join TVF in 2012.
Rise to Fame
Jitendra gained initial fame with the viral video Munna Jazbaati: The Q-tiya Intern in 2013, which quickly crossed 3 million views. Since then, he has portrayed various characters in TVF videos, including Tech Conversations With Dad, A Day With, and TVF Bachelors. His roles in TVF Pitchers (as Jitendra Maheshwari, a frustrated corporate employee), Permanent Roommates (as Gittu, a confused bridegroom), and Kota Factory (as Jeetu Bhaiya) have been particularly notable. He made his film debut with Shuruat Ka Interval in 2014.
