Tiger Shroff is an Indian actor known for his work in Hindi films. Born on March 2, 1990, to actors Jackie Shroff and Ayesha Dutt, he made his acting debut in the action-romance film Heropanti (2014), winning the IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year – Male. Shroff gained popularity with successful action films such as Baaghi (2016), Baaghi 2 (2018), and War (2019). He studied at the American School of Bombay and is trained in martial arts, holding a fifth-degree black belt in Taekwondo.
Career
Early Work and Success (2012–2020)
Shroff began his career with Heropanti in 2014, a commercial success despite mixed reviews. He was praised for his action sequences and dancing skills but criticized for his acting and dialogue delivery. He then starred in Baaghi (2016), a hit at the box office. However, his subsequent films A Flying Jatt (2016) and Munna Michael (2017) did not do well.
